Condors to Speak About the Life of a Professional Athlete at Beardsley Career Day

This Week in Condorstown:

Tuesday, Jan. 29: Tune in to "There It Is!" hosted by Jake Stevens on the All-New KGEO AM1230 from 7 to 8 a.m. Kevin Bartl, the Voice of the Condors, will be a featured guest to discuss everything Condors.

Tuesday, Jan. 29: The Bakersfield Condors look to extend their unbeaten streak to seven games as they take on the Utah Grizzles for High School/College ID Night sponsored by CW Bakersfield and 106.1 KRAB Radio. All high school and college students receive $1.00 admission by presenting their student ID at the Rabobank Arena box office. Doors open at 6 p.m. Puck drops at 7 p.m.

Wednesday, Jan. 30: The Condors will hold a Media Roundtable at Tailgaters Sports Grill from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Condors speakers will include coach Marty Raymond, President Matthew Riley and VP of Communications Kevin Bartl. Tailgaters is located at 900 Truxtun Ave # 110. The roundtable is open to members of the media.

Thursday, Jan. 31: Condors F Tom Boudreau will attend the Beardsley Intermediate School Career Day, from 12:25 to 2:10 p.m., at 1001 Roberts Lane. Boudreau will speak about athletics as a career, answer student questions and sign autographs for young fans.

Thursday, Jan. 31: The Condors Coach's Show will be pre-recorded this week, as the team departs for Stockton for this weekend's games. You can catch Head Coach Marty Raymond and several Condors players, along with the Voice of the Condors Kevin Bartl on the All-New KGEO AM1230, from 6 to 7 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 6: Condors player (TBD) will attend the San Lauren School Career Day, from 8:15 to 9 p.m., at 5210 Victor Street. The player will meet youngsters who are interested in a career in sports, answer student questions and sign autographs for young fans.

Thursday, Feb. 7: Condors players (TBD) will visit Valley Elementary School, located at 2300 East Brundage Lane from 1 to 3 p.m. The Condors players will read stories to the children and will be invited to hear the children perform the United States and Canadian national anthems.

Saturday, Feb. 9: Mascot Colonel Claw'd will be dancing and greeting people at the Grand Opening of AltaOne Federal Credit Union, located at 6501 Ming Avenue from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Fans of all ages are invited to take a picture and get an autograph from the Colonel, as well as enter to win raffle prizes and even win a new car.
