Condors Show Students the Importance of Reading

This Week in Condorstown:

Thursday, Jan. 17: Turn your dial to KUZZ 107.9 to hear player Mike Hofstrand discuss the upcoming game against Las Vegas and the Condors Cap Giveaway.

Thursday, Jan. 17: Catch the Condors Coach's Show with Head Coach Marty Raymond and Condors players, on the All-New KGEO AM1230 from 6 to 7 p.m.

Friday, Jan. 18: Mascot Colonel Claw'd will act out scenes from a children's book for students at Christa McAuliffe Elementary School during their celebrity reader program beginning at 1:45 p.m. Christa McAuliffe is located at 8900 Westwold Drive.

Friday, Jan. 18: The Condors take on the National Conference leading Las Vegas Wranglers at The Nest for Cap Giveaway brought to you by KUZZ 107.9 and 3-Way Chevrolet. The first 2,000 kids 5-and-older will receive a Condors cap. Doors open at 6 p.m. Puck drops at 7 p.m.

Friday, Jan. 25: Mascot Baby Cal and Community Relations Manager Brian Marsh will attend the Golden Hills Elementary School's 9 a.m. assembly as a reward for students on the honor roll and to inform students about the Condors T.H.I.N.K. program. Golden Hills Elementary School is located at 20215 Park Road in Tehachapi.

Thursday, Jan. 31: Player Jason Goulet will attend the Beardsley Intermediate School Career Day, from 12:25 to 2:10 p.m., at 1001 Roberts Lane. Goulet will speak about athletics as a career, answer student questions and sign autographs for young fans.

Condorstown Connection:

Ladies Night is back in Condorstown. Participants will receive a tour of the Condors locker room, players' bench and rink, enjoy a catered dinner while receiving a course in hockey 101 and taking part in a Q & A session with the players. Ladies will also receive a commemorative Ladies Night t-shirt, take part in a raffle for other great Condors gear and will be able to watch the Condors game the following night from the Budweiser 5-hole Suit on the glass.
