Tuesday, Dec. 4: Mascot Baby Cal will join 106.1 KRAB Radio will join the KRAB radio van from the Fastrip Food Store, located at 3701 Ming Avenue noon to 1 p.m. Stop by for a chance to win prizes and giveaways.
Wednesday, Dec. 5: Community Relations Manager Brian Marsh will be a guest speaker at a child development class at
Bakersfield
College. Marsh will be speaking on the Condors continual efforts to reward local children for academic achievements and the Condors ongoing charitable contributions to the community.
Thursday, Dec. 6: Look for Team Captain Sean Venedam and mascot Colonel Claw'd throwing out goodies and waving to the crowd from atop the KGET TV-17/ Telemundo 11 float during the 2007 Bakersfield Christmas Parade. The parade through downtown will begin on the corner of L and
22nd Street at 6 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 6: The Condors Coach's Show will air from
Anchorage
Alaska from 6 to 7 p.m. You can catch Condors players along with Head Coach Marty Raymond along with the Condors Vice President of Communications Kevin Bartl on the All-New KGEO AM1230.
Friday, Dec. 7: Player Steven Later will visit
Harding
Elementary School, located at
3201 Pico Avenue, from 1 to 2 p.m. Later will be on hand to inform the kids about hockey, and demonstrate the importance of sports safety by dressing students in hockey gear. He will also take pictures and sign autographs for the children.

Elementary School's choir assembly, dancing with several teachers while the choir sang Christmas carols. Later in the ceremony, Community Relations Manager Brian Marsh presented a check to the school choir for their fundraising efforts.

Elementary School's celebrity reader of the month. The Colonel acted out scenes from the book "Z is for Zamboni" while it was being read to the students.
Notes from The Nest
Condors fans, this is your chance to let the rest of the league how much you like the Condors logo, as there is currently a logo tournament involving all the teams in the ECHL. The Condors are pitted up against the South Carolina Stingrays in round 1. Voting for this matchup is set to begin on Dec. 3. Click here to vote.
Toy Drive Dec. 12
The Bakersfield Condors are ringing in the holiday season by holding the 4th Annual Toy Drive. Fans can bring a new unwrapped toy and receive $1.00 terrace admission to the game on Wednesday, Dec. 12. The toys will be given to children who otherwise would not be receiving Christmas gifts this holiday season. All donations will be personally handed out during the Stay Focused annual Christmas giveaway. We wish you all a happy holiday Condorstown!
