Saturday, Nov. 28
One of the biggest events of the season, Teddy Bear Toss, is just 5 days away! On Saturday, Nov. 28, fans are encouraged to bring a teddy bear to the 7 p.m. game at Rabobank Arena and "let 'em loose" onto the ice following the first Condors goal. Last year, a capacity crowd of 8,929 launched 7,614 bears onto the ice. More than 52,000 stuffed animals have been donated in the history of the Condors Teddy Bear Toss. All teddy bears collected will be donated to the United Way to help the less fortunate in Kern County during the Holiday season. Saturday is also a Big Buddies Night, dedicated to providing underprivileged children the opportunity to attend a Condors game free of charge thanks to local donations. For info on how to donate Condors tickets through the Big Buddies, call 324-PUCK (7825).

Condors at Dragons Practices
Next Tuesday and C Adam Naglich, RW Nick Kemp, D Pierre-Luc Lessard and LW Mathieu Aubin will attend practices of the Dragons squirt and pee wee youth hockey teams at the Bakersfield Ice Sports Center, located at 1325 Q street. The Condors will be at the practices from 6:30-8:45 p.m.

The week that was macenauer
Three player appearances highlighted last week's Condors in the Community. C Maxime Macenauer visited Mrs. Brandon's choir at Colonel Nichols Elementary on Tuesday to celebrate their successful fundraiser with the Condors. Macenauer was treated to their rendition of the National Anthem, which they also performed at the Condors game last Friday. Click here to watch a video of Macenauer's appearance. On Wednesday, D Pierre-Luc Lessard stopped by the Epilepsy Society of Kern County Fiesta Night at El Adobe Restaurant to help support their annual dinner and auction. And on Thursday, F Andrew Ianiero and LW Logan MacMillan attended Cigar Night at Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield. The money raised at the event was donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities.
