Condors in the Community: Teddy Bear Toss Sets New Record at 8,075 Collected!

Monday, Nov. 30
The United Way completed its Teddy Bear Toss packing and distributing at the Society for Disabled Children's Hall. RW Stephane Goulet, who scored the Teddy Bear Toss goal on Saturday, and Baby Cal were goulet tbton hand to help with the tagging and bagging. A record-setting total number of stuffed animals were officially announced this morning on 29 Eyewitness News by reporter Kate Larsen, who was at the bagging event. A crowd of 8,825 was on hand to toss the stuffed animals on the ice on Saturday night, marking the fifth largest crowd in Condors history. Additional details and footage from Teddy Bear Toss Night and Goulet's appearance at the packing center will be released tomorrow.
 
Tuesday, Dec. 1
Head Coach Marty Raymond will make an appearance on ESPN Radio 1230's "Home Turf with Corey Costelloe" at 4:30 p.m.
 
Condors players will be at the Bakersfield Ice Sports Center, located at 1325 Q street, just south of Rabobank Arena, from 6:30-8:45 p.m. helping out the Bakersfield Dragons youth hockey team practices. C Adam Naglich and RW Nick Kemp will be on the ice with the squirt team from 6:30-7:30 p.m., while D Pierre-Luc Lessard and LW Mathieu Aubin will help out the pee-wee practice from 6:45-7:45 p.m.
 
Wednesday, Dec. 2
RW Stephane Goulet will be on ESPN Radio 1230's "Home Turf with Corey Costelloe" at 3:45 p.m. to talk about scoring the Teddy Bear Toss goal and the team's winning streak.
 
Thursday, Dec. 3
The "Voice of the Condors" Kevin Bartl hosts the Condors Coach's Show on ESPN Radio 1230 from 5-6 p.m. His guests will be Head Coach Marty Raymond and D Eric Regan.
 
Colonel Claw'd will be featured on a Kern County Firefighters fire truck at the annual Great Bakersfield Christmas Parade, taking place from 6-8 p.m. in downtown Bakersfield on 20th and 21st streets between G and O streets.
 
Friday, Dec 4
A Condors player (TBD) will help kick off a Condors fundraiser at Downtown Elementary on 2021 M street from 8-9 a.m.

In conjunction with "Your Radio Store" on ESPN Radio 1230, this Wednesday only, Flex Plans will be half off! Lower Bowl packs cost just $70, while Upper Bowl packs are $40. Flex Plans include 10 tickets that can be used throughout the season when you want. Use all 10 at one game, use one at 10 games or anything in between, it's your choice. Call the Condors office at 324-PUCK (7825) on Wednesday only for this Holiday Season discount. "Your Radio Store" will be doing a live remote from Rabobank Arena on Dec. 2 from Noon - 3 p.m.
