Week in Review:

On Sunday, the Bakersfield Condors welcomed their 2 millionth fan to The Nest. At approximately 12:15 p.m. Sawyer Robinson was the 528th fan to walk through the turnstiles of Rabobank Arena on Sunday, becoming the 2 millionth fan in Condors history. Robinson received a team-signed hockey stick, a commemorative plaque and upgraded seats for that night and a 10th Anniversary jersey with "2 million" as the number. Steve Robinson, Sawyer's father, received a lottery ticket with the numbers of that night's starting lineup so they have the potential to win more than $2,000,000.

Over the past week the condors mascot Colonel Claw'd visited the children at Childtime Children's Center, walked with students from Highland Elementary School as part of their exercise program and read to students at Van Horn and Berkshire Elementary Schools during their Celebrity Reader Program.

The expanded 41-hour 4th Annual Condors Fighting Cancer Hockey-Thon, took place last weekend to help raise money for Links for Life, a local breast cancer resource center. The Hockey-Thon featured over 130 hockey players of all skill levels competing throughout the 41-hour event, a special Alumni Game with former Condors and Falcons players, as well as raffles and auctions.
