So, is this guy Wirll going to show up or did we get the shaft again? Why does it seem like this happens to us more than any team in the league?

Actually we didn't get "the shaft" on this one. Since he's not coming, and the trade which was for future considerations, it is basically voided.  This actually happens on occasion around the rest of the hockey world in all minor leagues; my guess is that you probably just don't hear about it if, let's say, it happens to Trenton, or Flint, or New Mexico.
