Insane at Condors games

Ten years and still a lot of things stand out in my mind.  I became a fan in 1998 when my mom bought season tickets to the "new" thing in Bakersfield. She took a chance on a team and sport no one really knew about here. And boy am I glad she did. We were totally insane at the games.  We painted our faces, held up signs and danced every time they played a song (kinda like Dancing Granny) and we even had our own jerseys.  To this day I still have all the videos and signs and my special jersey.  When I was 18 I started dating my boyfriend, the first thing I said was, "I like the Condors. I go to every game, if you want to be with me, you better like Condors hockey!"  Now it is 3 years later and he's almost as obsessed with the sport and team as I am.  I've made so many lifelong friends through this team and a lot of them are like family to me now. I've grown from a kid to an adult with this team. I can't imagine anything better than that!
