NASCAR Night at The Nest on Monday

March Monday Madness continues - season tickets given away every time the Condors score!

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors return home next Monday, March 24 against the Fresno Falcons for NASCAR Night. Doors open at 6 p.m., puck drops at 7 p.m. This weekend the Condors play in Fresno on both Friday and Saturday; both games begin at 7:30 p.m.

March Monday Madness is spreading and has reached NASCAR fans as well! On Monday all fans wearing a NASCAR shirt or jacket will receive $1 terrace level admission to the game. Also a special treat for racing fans, an authentic, race-driven Jeff Gordon car will be at The Nest. Gordon's car is equipped with a race simulator so that fans may take their turn driving like the pros.

Thanks to last Monday's eight-goal performance by the Condors, a total of 13 fans have received season tickets as part of the Mucho Season Ticket Giveaway! For every goal the Condors score during March Monday Madness games, one fan is randomly drawn to win a season ticket for the 2008-09 season. Also on Monday, the first 2,000 fans will receive a Kevin Truelson magnet, the fourth magnet of the five-piece March Monday Madness Magnet Collectors Series. If that's not enough to get you to join the madness, all Condors jerseys are 50% off on Monday nights in March!

Monday is also a CW Bakersfield and 106.1 KRAB Radio High School/College ID Night. All high school and college students receive $1.00 admission for lower level seats, while they last, by presenting their student ID at the Rabobank Arena box office.

On Monday, Kevin Truelson and Jason Kostadine will man the Holiday Inn Select Autograph Booth, located on the concourse behind section 108. The players will arrive at the booth approximately 20 minutes after the conclusion of the game to meet fans and sign autographs.

Next weekend the Condors remain at The Nest for two more games. On Friday, March 28, the Condors take on the Victoria Salmon Kings for Hockey Stick & Puck Giveaway. The first 2,000 fans, 12-and-under, will receive a plastic street hockey stick and puck, courtesy of KGET-TV 17 and the U.S. Army.

The following night, on Saturday, March 29, the Condors battle the Utah Grizzles for the Country Music Jersey Off Our Backs Raffle and Auction, sponsored by Bright House Networks, KUZZ 107.9 and Bud Light. The specially designed game-worn jerseys pay homage to Bakersfield's country music heritage and will be auctioned off after the game, plus everyone in attendance has a chance to win one of five to be given away! All proceeds from the jersey auction will be donated to Valley Achievement Center, a non- profit organization that serves people with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Individual game tickets are on sale and may be purchased through the Rabobank Arena Box Office, which is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and opens at 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday with extended hours on game days. Tickets may also be purchased by phone at 322-2525, online at www.bakersfieldcondors.com, or at any Ticketmaster location. the Rabobank Arena Box Office will close at 2 p.m. with normal hours on Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
