Made NHL debut for Los Angeles Kings Jan. 13, 2007 (in St. Louis)... Became first Japanese-born player to appear in an NHL game... He entered the game in the third period and stopped four of five shots, as the Kings fell to the Blues 6-5... He made his first start Jan. 16, 2007 in Atlanta... In four total appearances, Fukufuji went 0-3-0 with a 4.37 GAA and .837 save percentage... Was an eighth round selection of Los Angeles in 2004 NHL Entry Draft...
