Spent last two seasons with Wheeling Nailers... Notched 24 points (6g, 18a) and 91 penalty minutes in 61 games last season and 36 points (18g, 18a) and 121 penalty minutes in 70 games in 2005-06... Began pro career in 2004-05 with the Texas Wildcatters, where he amassed 25 points (9g, 16a) and 86 penalty minutes in 45 games... Also played six games with CHL's Laredo Bucks and one game with AHL's San Antonio Rampage in 2004-05... Prior to turning pro, Sonnenberg played one year at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (2003-04) and three years of juniors (1999-00, 2001-02, 2002-03)... Recorded 66 points (29g, 37a) and 91 penalty minutes in 64 games with the Atlantic Junior Hockey League's Drayton Valley Thunder in 2002-03...
