Jake, 38, is a Communications Consultant for the Condors. He joined the team in the summer of 2006 as the Director of Broadcasting, and came to be known for his signature goal call, "THERE IT IS!"
Jakehandled hockey play-by-play duties previously as the Director of Broadcasting for the Corpus Christi IceRays (then of the WPHL), in their expansion season, 1998-1999. He also has been behind the mic for baseball, having held the position of Director of Broadcasting for the Bend Bandits (then of the WBL) in 1997 and 1998, as well as the Massachusetts Mad Dogs (then of the NABL) for their inaugural season in 1996, a team owned by Condors owner Jonathan Fleisig.
Prior to his work on-air, Jake spent two and a half years at ESPN in production, rising from Temporary Production Assistant to Associate Producer. He produced highlights and feature packages for ESPN's SportsCenter, NFL PrimeTime and Baseball Tonight, as well as ESPN2's NBA 2Night before leaving for the on-air position with the Mad Dogs.
The Nanuet, New York native spent the last four-plus years in marketing with New York City agencies US Concepts, LLC and Buzztone, Inc.
Jake received hisdegree in Communications from the University of Michigan in 1991, and a master'sin TV, Radio and Film at Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in 1992. He lives in Tarzana with his wife, Lara.
