Condors Sign Rookie Alex Hudson
“He’s a highly sought after college player who we’re excited to have,” said Head Coach Matt O’Dette. “He’s a powerful, fast, and explosive forward.”
The 6’0″, 212 lbs. center spent the last four seasons with the University of Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks (NCAA) under Head Coach Dean Blais. In 130 games played, Hudson recorded 37 goals and 45 assists for 82 points.
His best season came in 2010-11, his junior season, when he tallied 13 goals and 18 assists for 31 points in 35 games played.
Prior to his collegiate career, the 24-year old played four seasons in the United States Hockey League (USHL) for the Tri-City Storm. While there, he amassed 123 points (54g-69a) in 200 games played over four seasons.
He is expected with the team this weekend when the Condors host the Stockton Thunder for two games.
Spider-Man and Flip Cams Tonight and Saturday
Spider-Man brings his superhero powers to Condorstown as the Condors host the Thunder tonight at 7 p.m. He’ll pose for pictures in the Condors photo booth and will greet fans around the arena. The game is sponsored by MY 45 and La Campesina 92.5 FM. It’s also a Bright House Networks and Wells Fargo Kids Club Night where members will receive free lower level admission to the game.
On Saturday, the Condors take on Stockton at 7 p.m. and 50 lucky fans will take home a Condors customized Flip Cam courtesy of Bright House Networks and 106.1 KRAB Radio. The video recorders feature images of Condors players, past and present.
