Tyler Brenner reassigned to the Toronto Marlies

CONDORSTOWN – The Bakersfield Condors and Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations Matt O’Dette announced today that F Tyler Brenner has been reassigned to the American Hockey League’s Toronto Marlies. Brenner left the team following the Condors 4-2 victory in San Francisco last night. The Marlies are the AHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Toronto Maple Leafs.
Brenner, 24, who is under contract with the Maple Leafs  and played 21 games last season with the Marlies, registering one goal and two assists for three points.

One of the Condors most consistent offensive producers this season, the Linwood, Ontario native notched eight goals and 13 assists for 21 points in 32 games this season. He is second on the team in scoring and served as an alternate captain over the weekend.

Brenner was named the Kern Trophies Condor of the Month for the month of November. He joins the more than 100 players who have been called up to either the AHL or NHL from the ECHL since the NHL lockout ended a week ago.
