GAME RECAP: Knights 7, Condors 5
The Bakersfield Condors could not dig out of a 4-0 first period hole and fell 7-5 to the Henderson Silver Knights on Saturday. Luke Esposito (1g-2a), Matteo Gennaro (2g), Devin Brosseau (1g-1a), and Raphael Lavoie (2a) each had multi-point nights. The Condors loss was their first in regulation in their last nine at home. Bakersfield is now 13-2-4 in their last 19 games overall.

The Bakersfield Condors (19-9-4-3, 45pts) won their third straight on the homestand, 3-2 over the Henderson Silver Knights (20-13-2-1, 43pts). Colin Chaulk won his AHL head coaching debut and Alex Stalock stopped 23 of 25 to secure his first home win. Raphael Lavoie's second period power-play marker was the game winner, his 10th goal in 18 games.
Chaulk assumes head coaching duties
Colin Chaulk, who joined the Condors as an assistant coach in September 2021, will assume head coaching duties beginning tonight against Henderson at 7 p.m. Chaulk will be assisted by general manager Keith Gretzky, goaltending coach Sylvain Rodrigue, and video coordinator Noah Segall. He is the 9th head coach in franchise history and the third head coach in the team's American Hockey League era.
