TUESDAY, OCTOBER 16:

Condors broadcaster Kevin Bartl hits the airwaves for his weekly appearance on the Scott Cox Show at 5 p.m. on KERN News Talk 1180. The season has begun – so don’t miss out on behind the scenes news and insights about the team and front office.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 17:

Baby Cal and Director of Community Relations Mikie Barrett will take part in Celebrity Reader Day at Rosedale North Elementary at 9 a.m. Cal in Classroom

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 18:

A Condors player will address the youth of FUN Sports about the importance of being healthy and developing good practice habits at Norris Elementary at 5:30 p.m.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 19:

Baby Cal will join the Walk in the Dark at 1 p.m. on Truxtun & F Street. This walk gives sighted people a chance to experience walking down a public street without being able to see. The second part of this awareness/fundraising event is Dine in the Dark being held on Sunday, October 21 where attendees experience eating a meal without sight. Proceeds from this event benefit the Greater Bakersfield Council of the Blind scholarship programs.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 20:

Baby Cal and Account Manager Matthew Friedman will join hundreds of walkers at the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk talking place at the CSUB Amphitheater at 8:30 a.m.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 21:

Colonel Claw’d will be the only Condor allowed to roam the grounds at CALM’s annual Boo at the Zoo. The event features Halloween related games, activities & train rides and starts at 9 a.m.

CONDORS HOME GAMES THIS WEEKEND:

The Condors return to Dignity Health home ice with Friday and Saturday night matchups against the San Francisco Bulls. Friday night the first 2,000 kids 12 and under will get a set of Condors Fathead stickers, sponsored by My 45, Hot Hits 93.1 and Reliable Moving & Storage.

On Saturday, October 20, members of the Condors Kids Club receive FREE admission and characters from the Star Wars films will be in the house to meet fans and pose for pictures in the Condors Photo Booth. In addition, everyone will receive a Condors Magnet Schedule, sponsored by La Campesina and Fastrip. Before Saturday’s game, the Bakersfield Downtown Business Association will host a Party on the Plaza, starting at 4 p.m., featuring food and drinks, games, sponsor booths and more. After the game Saturday, all Season Ticket Holders are welcome to stick around for a Meet the Team Party.

Doors open at 6 p.m., the puck drops at 7 p.m., both nights. Membership to Condors Kids Club is only $10 for the season and parents can get corresponding ticket packages for as low as $8 per month. For more information or to purchase a Kids Club Membership, please call 324-PUCK (7825).
