Condors Weekly: Three-in-three week for the Condors
They will host their next four games, starting with three contests in three nights this week.

Bakersfield opened the scoring midway through the first, but surrendered three straight by Colorado and fell behind. When F Peter Boyd scored in the second period it cut the deficit to 3-2, but the equalizer eluded the Condors and they fell in the series opener.

F Peter Boyd (1g-1a) and LW Jacob Lagace (0g-2a) each had multi-point games, but the Eagles were too much for Bakersfield to handle in a 5-2 decision on Saturday. Newly acquired F Daniel Koger scored his first goal as a Condor, while G Brian Stewart made 37 saves in the loss.
- Two newcomers to the Condors lineup – D Deron Cousens and F Daniel Koger – both made their debuts with the team on the road trip, and both added their first points with the team. Koger had 1g-1a on the trip, while Cousens notched an assist on Friday.
- Koger is also second in the league to teammate F Peter Boyd (right) for shootout goals, with four. Boyd leads the league with five.
- The assault on the Condors blueline continued last week with D Erik Burgdoerfer sustaining an upper-body injury that kept him to only a few select shifts on Saturday. D Ryan Annesley (21-IR), D Olivier Dame-Malka, D Trevor Hendrikx are already out injured for Bakersfield, while F Liam Huculak has skated on the blueline as a replacement in each of the last five games.
- Saturday’s game starts a stretch of six straight against the Idaho Steelheads, from Dec. 29 – Jan. 12.
- The Condors offense has been spread out this season. Seven players are within three goals of the Condors team lead.
- Bakersfield is a perfect 4-0 on home ice when leading after two periods.
- Only three teams have gone to overtime more than the Condors this season. Bakersfield has appeared in eight OT games. Each of those three teams have played in nine.
- G Scott Greenham is 5th in the ECHL with 526 saves.
- F Peter Boyd leads the ECHL with five shootout goals.
- F Daniel Koger is 2nd in the ECHL with four shootout goals.
- G Scott Greenham leads the league lead with four shootout wins and is 3rd with a .941 shootout save percentage. The only two goalies ahead of him in shootout save pct. have only participated in one shootout this season.
- F Brett Lyon (right) is 3rd among ECHL rookies with eight major penalties.
- D Tyson Gimblett leads all ECHL defensemen with eight major penalties (all fighting majors).The Condors rank 5th in the ECHL with a .444 shooting percentage in shootouts.
- They rank 3rd in the shootouts with a .800 save percentage.
