20 Kindle Fire’s Giveaway and Dodgers Night with Maury Wills

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors hit the Dignity Health Home Ice at Rabobank Arena for two exciting games this Friday and Saturday against the Idaho Steelheads. On Friday night, 20 lucky fans will walk away with Kindle Fire Computer Tablets while Los Angeles Dodgers legend Maury Wills will be on hand for pictures and autographs at the game on Saturday.

Every fan in attendance on Friday will have a chance to win one of 20 Kindle Fire computer tablets to be given away presented by 29 Eyewitness News and 106.1 KRAB Radio. These 7″ tablets are perfect for reading books, browsing the internet, or even listening to Condors hockey!

Friday’s game will also feature the return of the Los Angeles Kings Ice Crew Girls, Street Team, and the most popular mascot in the NHL, Bailey. They will be on hand to entertain fans and take pictures.

Prior to Friday’s game, Condors Head Coach Matt O’Dette will hold a special “Chalk Talk” for season ticket holders in “The Space Between” beginning at 5:45 p.m. He will discuss the season and the team’s strategy for the night’s game.

It is a Dignity Health Mercy and Memorial Hospitals & Diamond Technologies T.H.I.N.K. Night with students earning complimentary tickets to the game through exceptional performance in the classroom.

On Saturday, bring your Dodger blue and celebrate LA Dodgers Night presented by HOT 94.1 FM. Dodgers legend Maury Wills will be on hand along with a mystery major leaguer for pictures and autographs throughout the game. Wills is one of the greatest shortstops of all-time and was named to the all-star game on seven different occasions in addition to winning the 1962 National League Most Valuable Player award. He stole an incredible 104 bases that season.

During the first intermission, Lakeside Jr. High will entertain the crowd with a cheer performance as a result of their excellent fundraiser with the Condors to raise money for their squad. After the games be sure to stop by the Bakersfield Marriott at the Convention Center Autograph Booth located on the concourse near the main doors. On Friday, G Scott Greenham and F Nick Prockow will sign for fans, while on Saturday meet two of the new players F Daniel Koger and D Kyle Haines.

Both games start at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m. (5:45 p.m. for Season Ticket Holders).

The Condors hit the road on Sunday for a 2:15 p.m. in San Francisco as the Condors wrap up their three-in-three weekend action. They return home on Tuesday, Jan. 15 for Canned Food Collection Night, sponsored by My 45, La Preciosa 105.3 and Kern County Farm Bureau. Donate two non-perishable food items and get in to the game for just $1. The food will be donated to the Bakersfield Homeless Center.
