CONDORSTOWN, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors (14-34-2-3, 33pts) pulled to within a goal in the third period, but could not find an equalizer and fell by a 3-1 margin to the San Francisco Bulls (18-23-1-6, 43pts) on Saturday night at Cow Palace.

D Rob Kwiet’s shot from the high slot went over Stewart’s glove to give the Bulls a 1-0 at the 8:22 mark. Stewart would come up big the rest of the period including on a late flurry of shots from in his crease. The Condors outshot the Bulls, 11-10.

C Marek Viedensky extended the lead to 2-0 when his shot from the slot beat Stewart at 2:45 of the third period. The Condors would mount a comeback when  F Jake Morley finished off a scramble play around the Bulls net to make it 2-1 at 5:39. That was as close as the Condors would get though as C Jordan Morrison added the insurance goal at 9:26 for 3-1 lead. Bakersfield pulled Stewart with two minutes left for the extra attacker, but could not get any closer and fell 3-1.
