TONIGHT

The Bakersfield Condors open a four-game home stand with two games this weekend against the Ontario Reign. This is meeting vs ONT number nine of 10 in the season series. Six of the games in the series will be played in Condorstown.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

Bakersfield was swept in Alaska, dropping three contests to the ECHL-leading Aces. G Brian Stewart stopped 40+ shots in each of the last two games. The Condors were shutout for the first time on Sunday in a 3-0 loss. 

THE SITUATION
The Condors are in the midst of a playoff push with the San Francisco Bulls for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. Entering tonight, the Condors sit eight points back of the Bulls, with San Francisco having two games in hand. The Condors play seven of their last 10 games at home, including two games against the Bulls in the last week of the regular season.

The Condors are 14-1-1-0 when leading after two periods… C Nicholas Tremblay returns from Providence (AHL) tonight where he played five games with the Bruins… G Brian Stewart is third in the ECHL with 1174 saves… G Scott Greenham is tied for 2nd in the ECHL with 5 shootout wins… F Francis Verreault is fifth among rookies with 46 points and 30 assists… F Brett Lyon is tied for 2nd among rookies with 147 penalty minutes.

Friday night is a Dignity Health Mercy and Memorial Hospitals & Diamond Technologies T.H.I.N.K. Night. The Turn HockeyInto New Knowledge Program lets students earn terrace level tickets to the game for exceptional performance.
For the first time ever in Condorstown, fans will get a DUALBobblehead on Saturday featuring stud goaltenders Brian Stewart and Scott Greenhampresented by Fox Sports Radio 970 & Three Way Chevrolet-Cadillac. Not only are these bobbleheads great for the kids, but we will give them away to the first 2,000 fans 5 and older meaning even the adults can get in on the fun! These bobbleheads have even been described as the most realistic looking bobbleheads ever! Get to the rink early and don’t miss out on your chance to take Grenner and Stewy home with you!
Saturday is another opportunity for students from kindergarten through college to earn half-price tickets through the “B” Better Bakersfield program. All students have to do is show a recent report card showing a “B” (3.0) G.P.A. or better. Good grades gets you good seats!
The Condors will also honor Katie and Garrett Hutchins with theSpirit of Condorstown award. Katie and Garrett organized the first St. Baldrick’s event in Bakersfield to help children with cancer.
