Condors in the Community: Night Out Against Crime and Valley Fever Walk
TUESDAY, AUGUST 6:
Baby Cal and the Condors Slapshot Booth will head to Mill Creek Park from 6-9 p.m. for the Bakersfield Police Department’s National Night Out Against Crime. Come have some fun and try your hockey skills in the slapshot booth. Mill Creek Park is located between 19th and 21st streets just east of R St.
THURSDAY, AUGUST 8:
Come join Colonel Claw’d at the Kern Health Systems Benefit and Wellness Fairfrom 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. The facility is located at 9700 Stockdale Highway. Colonel will entertain and take pictures with everyone.
FRIDAY, AUGUST 9:
Colonel Claw’d will fly over to the Henrietta Weill Memorial Child Guidance Clinic for theirFun in the Sun Backpack and Shoe Drive from 9-11 a.m. The drive will take place at 2001 N. Chester Avenue and Colonel will make sure all of the kids are ready for the new school year.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 10:
Baby Cal and Community Relations Assistant Kelly Carter will kick off the People & Pets Walk for Valley Fever from 7-10 a.m. at Pioneer Village at the Kern County Museum. Registration starts at 7 a.m. and Baby Cal will get the walk started at 8 a.m. The Kern County Museum is located at 3801 Chester Ave.
OPEN HOUSE AND PRE-SEASON GAME COMING!
The Condors are set to hit the ice in October and you will not want to miss your first chance to see the new team in action. Both pre-season events will be held at Rabobank Arena.
Wed. 10/9 (Time TBD): Open House/Black-White Game; Season-Ticket Holders can pick up their tickets and meet and greet with with 2013-14 Condors squad for the first time. Admission is free with the donation of two non-perishable food items.
Sun. 10/13 (4 p.m.): Pre-season v. SF, skate and meet the team after the game.
