Goaltender Tyler Bunz Assigned by Edmonton
CONDORSTOWN, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors, ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers, announced today that team has been assigned G Tyler Bunz by Edmonton from the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League. With his addition, the Condors training camp roster stands at 22 (14 F, 6 D, 2 G).
BUNZ PROFILE
- 21 years old, Born: Regina, Saskatchewan
- Drafted by Edmonton in the 5th round (#121) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
Steven Christy / OKC Barons - Assigned to the Stockton Thunder in 2012-13, appearing in 37 regular season contests and four playoff games.
- Went 4-2-0-1 in six appearances against the Condors last season.
- Del Wilson Trophy Winner (WHL Goaltender of the Year) in 2011-12 with a record of 39-17-5 for Medicine Hat.
- Medicine Hat’s all-time wins leader with 115 over four-plus seasons.

He was composed and kept the team in the game making some very nice stops. We’re looking forward to his arrival and helping him develop here in Bakersfield.”
