TONIGHT
The Condors return to home ice after a four-game road trip that saw the team stumble in losses in Anchorage (three games) andSan Francisco (last night). This is their first meeting of the season against their cross-desert rivals, in a 10-game season series. Bakersfield will host six of the 10 games on the docket.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
The Condors dropped a 2-1 decision on the road in San Francisco against the Bulls in their home opener. D Wes Cunningham had Bakersfield’s only goal on the night, with F Michael Neal picking up his team-high third assist on the tally. G Andy Chiodo made his team debut, stopping 32 shots in his first action of the season.

BETWEEN THE PIPES
The Condors welcomed not one, but two new goaltenders to the squad this weekend. Andy Chiodo, 30, made his debut last night for Bakersfield, stopping 32 of 34 shots. The former Pittsburgh Penguin has spent six of the last seven seasons in Europe. G Chet Pickard joins the club today as well, assigned by the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League. Pickard also spent last season in Europe, but the previous three between the AHL and ECHL.

Last season, the Condors used only two goaltenders the entire campaign, and only four goalies have started a game for Bakersfield over the last two seasons.
