TONIGHT
The Bakersfield Condors wrap up a four-game homestand againstvs ONTthe Ontario Reign, in search of their second win. It is the second meeting of 11 between the Condors and Reign and the first at Rabobank Arena. The teams will meet three times in the next seven days, but then will not see each other again until the calendar flips to 2014.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
Bakersfield fell behind 3-0 after the opening period and never recovered as the Stockton Thunder picked up a Field Trip Day win, 6-2, Thursday morning. With a crowd of 6,402 in attendance, LW Michael Neal and C Chase Schaber each scored while Schaber, D Wes Cunningham, and D Joe Marciano picked up fighting majors. G Chet Pickard replaced G Andy Chiodo with 14:51 remaining and made three saves on four shots in his first action with Bakersfield.

Ontario surrendered the first goal of the game, but cruised past Stockton a night ago, 4-1, at Stockton Arena. Four different Reign scored in the win as Ontario outshot the Thunder, 49-16. LW Dan DaSilva (two assists), RW Derek Couture (1g-1a), and D Jake Newton (1g-1a) each had multi-point efforts for Ontario.

CONDORS NOTES

D Kyle Haines (Scotland) and Chiodo (Finland) both left the team yesterday for Europe and their rights were suspended… D Erik Burgdoerfer is 4th in Condors history among defensemen with 213 games played and 8th among all positions. Next up is D Scotty Balan (218)… Marciano picked up his first professional fighting major on Thursday. The Condors have eight fights on the season, all on home ice… Neal notched his second multi-point effort of the season on Thursday morning with a goal and an assist.
