Condors Weekly: Smokin’ hot Condors roll into the New Year
CONDORSTOWN, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors posted a perfect 2-0 record last week, giving them an 8-3-0-0 record over their last 11 games. They currently sit in 7th place in the Western Conference with an 11-15-0-1 record and 23 points in the standings.
They will hit the road for the next four, including games in Las Vegas (Wednesday) and Colorado (Friday, Saturday) this week. The Condors do not return to home ice until Jan. 11 against Las Vegas.
Last Week: 2-0
The week started with a 4-3 win over Las Vegas Thursday night, in which four different players scored and the team raced out to a 3-0 lead.
On Sunday afternoon they also took a 3-0 lead, with C Joel Broda and RW Jordan Knackstedt each posting 1g-1a, but this time G Laurent Brossoit made it stand with his fourth shutout of the season.
