Condors To Attend National Night Out Against Crime

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT AGAINST CRIME
TUES, AUGUST 5
Look for the Condors at the National Night Out Against Crime event August 5th, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Come out and visit with staff members attending our booth and take a picture with our mascot! The Street Fair will feature displays and tours by the Bakersfield Police Department, local vendors and various entertainment. It will take place outside the Police Department building in downtown Bakersfield, Truxtun Ave. and Eye St.
 
COLONEL’S CACHE SUMMER GIVEAWAY 
WED, JULY 30
Be sure to get in on the action as Colonel continues to hide specially-marked prizes around Bakersfield every Wednesday! Clues for each Cache will be posted on the Condors Twitterand Instagram accounts. The first person to find the prize, and bring it back to the Condors front office, will win FOUR TICKETS to an upcoming game in the 2014-15 season.
Colonel Claw’d left his “Cache” at a hidden location somewhere in Panorama Park last week, and has yet to be returned for the tickets! Look for further clues to its location!
 HEALTH & WELLNESS FAIR
THURS, AUGUST 7
The Condors are will attend the Ready-Set Back2School Health & Wellness Fair, Thursday August 7th, from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Event attendees will be able to get their kids ready for school with free backpacks (while supplies last), free kids haircuts, health screenings, safety tips, and more. Condors Mascots will visit and take pictures with the kids as office staff members work our booth with free prizes and information regarding the upcoming season. The event will take place at the Kern County Fair Grounds, located at 1142 P Street.
VALLEY FEVER AMERICAS FOUNDATION WALK
SAT, AUGUST 9
Condors mascots will attend the Valley Fever Americas Foundation Walk, an event raising funds for vaccination research and to raise awareness for Valley Fever. The disease is caused by a fungus found heavily in the San Joaquin Valley. Be sure to take a picture with our mascot before the walk! The event will take place at the Kern County Museum, Saturday August 9th, starting at 7:00 a.m. The museum is located at 3801 Chester Ave.
JASMINE NYREE DAY CENTER
FRI, AUGUST 15
Baby Cal will make a visit to the Jasmine Nyree Day Center Friday, August 15th, from 10:30 – 11:00 a.m. There are sure to be laughs and hugs-a-plenty! The Jasmine Nyree Day Center is located at 801 18th St.
