HOLTY’S BLOG: Seinfeld
I love being a Condor. I’d venture to guess that there aren’t many jobs in the entire world more fun than what I get to be a part of in Condorstown.
The past 24 hours have been incredible. If you happened to not have internet, television, radio, or pick up a paper here are some national links for you to click to see Condors coverage of our Seinfeld Puffy Shirt Jersey which will be worn on Nov. 16 to benefit M.A.R.E.
LINKS: ESPN, Yahoo! Puck Daddy, CBS Sports, USA Today, TSN, The Washington Post, and Sports Illustrated
If you don’t think this is funny or understand why we do these things, please let me explain. Sure, it is fun to be featured everywhere, but what does it all mean? It means that we have the opportunity to bring awareness to the Condors organization and in the process, raise as much money as possible for a local and deserving charity.
This is the top story on ESPN right now. That’s ESPN. As in, the station everyone complains about for not showing hockey. It’s the NFL’s Opening Night and there is an ECHL hockey team as their top story.
You can catch Matthew Riley on TSN 1260 at 2:25 p.m. and I’ll be on Sportsnet 960 The Fan at 4:05 p.m.
On TV, we’ll be featured on ESPN’s SportsNation today and on ABC’s Good Morning America tomorrow morning.
Tomorrow, @KevinBartl and I will head on Bakersfield.Com and hang out with our good friend Scott Cox at 8 a.m.
Thanks for having fun with us. Nobody has more fun than us.
