Thunder roll over Condors 7-0
Back in Stockton tomorrow night
Stockton, Calif. – Fights highlighted the night as the Bakersfield Condors (4-4-0-0, 8pts) fell to the Stockton Thunder (3-1-1-1, 8pts) by a score of 7-0 in front of 6,707 fans on Friday night at Stockton Arena.
The Condors had opportunities to crack the score sheet with two power plays in the second period, but were continually frustrated by G Bryan Pitton and the Thunder defense. The Condors were only able to fire 13 shots on goal through two periods of play.
The Condors needed three goals going into the third period, but Stockton quickly put Bakersfield into a bigger deficit. RW Frasier Clair and C Chris d’Alvise each scored in the first three minutes of the period to take a 5-0 lead. They added two more at the end of the contest to finish with the 7-0 victory.
