TONIGHT
The Bakersfield Condors host the Stockton Heat for the second time this season after Stockton opened the series with a 2-0 shutout on November 19 at Rabobank Arena. Bakersfield is 7-4-1-0 at home since Nov. 1 with 13 of the 15 games over that span in Bakersfield. Both teams are playing their best hockey of the season and each enter the game with points in five straight games.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
It was the second overtime winner of the season for the Condors a night ago, 3-2, over the Charlotte Checkers. Bakersfield took a 2-0 lead in the first period on goals from LW Ryan Hamilton and RW Taylor Beck, but Charlotte scored on a power play in the second and with under two minutes left in the third to force overtime. After a penalty kill early in the extra session, D Joey LaLeggia ripped a shot from the high slot past G Michael Leighton. Beck finished with three points (1g-2a)

Stockton beat Charlotte 3-1 on Wednesday night and then a night later, shut out the San Jose Barracuda, 4-0. G Jon Gillies had 31 saves for the shutout with C Mark Jankowski and RW Hunter Smith each recording a goal and assist.

NOBODY BETTER
Since Nov. 1, there has been no better scorer in the AHL than Condors RW Taylor Beck. In his last 13 games, Beck has a league-leading 23 points with eight goals and 15 assists and is +9. He is currently second in the AHL in scoring with 27 points (9g-19a).

THE CAPTAIN CHIPPING IN
LW Ryan Hamilton had a goal and assist last night for his seventh multi-point game of the season and his second against Charlotte. Hamilton has been on a line with RW Taylor Beck the entire season and the duo has accounted for 34.9% of the team’s points.

PACKED IN PACIFIC
All eight teams in the Pacific Division are .500 or better, the only such division in the AHL. Bakersfield and Stockton are each on five-game point streaks, the longest in the divison.
