1. OILERS LEAD SERIES 2-1; SLEPYSHEV SCORES AGAIN
- The Edmonton Oilers host the Anaheim Ducks in Game 4 of their second round series on Wednesday at 7 p.m. You can check the game out on NBCSN
- Former Condors winger Anton Slepyshev scored his second goal of the playoffs last night meaning former Condors now have six goals and nine assists for 15 points in nine games
2. FIELD TRIP DAY GROUPS ON SALE NOW
- The 14th Annual Field Trip Day game will be held on Thursday, Nov. 30 and group reservations for schools and classrooms are already being taken by calling the Condors at 324-PUCK (7825)
- Last season over 8,600 students enjoyed the educational game, so reserve now
3. CALDER CUP PLAYOFFS MOVE INTO SECOND ROUND
- In the Eastern Conference former Condors coaches Troy Mann and Ryan Murphy helped the Hershey Bears win Game 5 on Sunday and will face Providence in the next round
- Out west, Chicago beat Charlotte in five games while Grand Rapids swept Milwaukee
- In the Pacific Division, the deciding Game 5 between San Jose and Stockton will happen in San Jose on Tuesday while San Diego can close out Ontario in Game 4 with a win tonight on the road
4. BEAR AND THUNDERBIRDS ON TO WHL CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES
- The Seattle Thunderbirds are off to the Western Hockey League (WHL) Championship Series against Regina with the winner advancing to the Memorial Cup; Oilers prospect Ethan Bearhas 16 points (5g-11a) in 11 playoff games, but has missed the last three due to injury
- Behind the bench, former Condors Head Coach Matt O’Dette (2011-13) is an assistant coach with Seattle
