JERSEY AUCTION TOTAL: $32,660
CONDORSTOWN, Calif. The Bakersfield Condors announced today that Saturday’s Blackout Cancer jersey auction raised a record $32,660 for the Kern County Cancer Fund and other local charities. Bakersfield won its 15th consecutive game on a night presented by Univision, 98.5 The Fox, and Comprehensive Blood and Cancer Center.
BLACKOUT CANCER JERSEY AUCTION
- The jersey of D Logan Day garnered the highest bid at $2,800
- Four other jerseys: G Shane Starrett ($2,700), LW Joe Gambardella ($2,600), C Cooper Marody ($2,500), and RW Josh Currie ($2,400) all raised more than $2,000
- The team’s Golden Ticket jersey raffle of RW Kailer Yamamoto raised $2,160

Bakersfield returns to action on Saturday in Tucson at 6 p.m. PT where they will attempt to win 16 consecutive games and match the third longest streak ever in the 83-year history of the AHL.
The Condors are next at home on Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2.
