SAN JOSE – The Bakersfield Condors (36-17-2-1; 75pts) closed a road trip in style with a 7-1 victory over the San Jose Barracuda (30-18-2-4; 66pts) on Saturday at SAP Center. With the win, the Condors magic number is now 11 to clinch a playoff berth and the team is 20-2-0 in their last 22 games.
RW Patrick Russell had two goals, LW Tyler Benson had a goal and assist, and G Shane Starrett won for the 17th time in his last 18 starts.
