Monday, Jan. 24

Colonel Claw’d appeared at the Downtown Business Association annual member drive from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Colonel entertained the local guests who attended the event this morning in support of the Condors partnership with the DBA.

Tuesday, Jan. 25

Tune in to KBAK Channel 29 Morning Show at 6:45 a.m. to get a glimpse of the Stanley Cup and Patrick J. Kelly Cup that are in town for the ECHL All-Star Classic.

The Stanley Cup and Patrick J. Kelly Cup will then make their way to Bakersfield Memorial Hospital located at 420 34th St. from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m.

The All-Star Fan Fest presented by Bank of the Sierra, will be taking place at the Bakersfield Marriott at the Convention Center located at 801 Truxtun Ave. The event runs from 6 to 9 p.m. in the ballroom at the Marriott, adjacent to Rabobank Arena. This is theFan Fest fans’ chance to meet and rub elbows with the All-Stars, get autographs, get photos and meet the players. The Condors have chosen a “Taste of Bakersfield” theme for the event, and will feature seven area restaurants to serve up local cuisine, dinner, dessert and drinks throughout the night. The Stanley Cup and the Patrick J. Kelly Cup will both be on display, plus the Inflatable Slap Shot booth will be there for younger fans to receive lessons on scoring from the All-Stars as well. Advanced tickets that include All-Star prizes, and food vouchers are sold out, however Condors fans can still attend the event free of charge.

Wednesday, Jan. 26

Tune in to KERO Channel 23 Morning Show at 6:20 a.m. to get a glimpse of the Stanley Cup and Patrick J. Kelly Cup that are in town for the ECHL All-Star Classic.

The Hall of Fame Luncheon, presented by the Bakersfield Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and BFL Canada, features keynote speaker Dave Poulin, who is a former NHL All-Star and the Vice President of Hockey Operations for the Toronto Maple Leafs, and inducts the fourth class of players, officials and builders into the ECHL Hall of Fame. Tickets are $40 for an individual, $250 for a table of seven, and every table will be joined by an All-Star participant. The HOF Luncheon is from Noon to 1:30 p.m. This event is expected to sell out, only a few tables remain at press time. Don’t miss out on your chance to see the Bakersfield Condors take on the ECHL All-Stars Wednesday night at Rabobank Arena located at 1001 Truxtun Ave. for the 2011 ECHL All-Star Classic. The first 2,000 children 12 and under will receive a free All-Star cereal bowl, Allstarcourtesy of Mercy & Memorial Hospitals.

Condorstown welcomes Kevin Connolly, star of the hit HBO series “Entourage”, to the All-Star Game. Connolly, best known for his six-year stint in the role of “E” on the show, will appear at the All-Star Game and Skills Competition. He will be raffling off prizes including autographed poster and a chance to visit the “Entourage” set. Connolly will also engage in a shootout competition on the ice during the second intermission with Bakersfield native and Texas Rangers World Series pitcher Colby Lewis to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Friday, Jan. 28

Baby Cal and Condors staff will be at Berkshire Elementary School located at 3900 Berkshire Rd. at 1:45 p.m. Baby Cal will interact with the kids as a book is read aloud.

Colonel Claw’d will be appearing at Victory Outreach located at 220 Eureka St. at 7 p.m. Colonel will be pumping up guests as they kick off a fundraiser with the Condors to help raise money for their ColonelKidssorganization.

Saturday, Jan. 29

Colonel Claw’d will be joining the Community Action Partnership of Kern located at 1002 Wible Rd. for a local organizations awareness event at 10 a.m. CAPK provides an integrated network of services as the official anti-poverty agency for the county of Kern.
