The Bakersfield Condors (4-3-0-1, 9pts) earned a point in a 3-2 shootout loss to the San Diego Gulls (2-4-0-0, 4pts) on Friday night in San Diego. Markus Niemelainen scored the game-tying goal with just over three minutes left in the third period. Brad Malone scored on the power play as the Condors power play cashed in for the eighth straight game. Seth Griffith’s assist extended his point streak to eight games (3g-8a).
