The Bakersfield Condors (31-29-4, 66pts) fell behind early and never recovered in a 5-1 loss to the Coachella Valley Firebirds (43-14-6, 92pts) on Wednesday. Dylan Holloway (3rd) scored the team’s lone goal and in his second straight game.
Bakersfield is 19-11-3 in its last 32 overall. The Condors play six of their final eight games at home, where they are 12-2-2 in their last 16.
