ABOUT FLOOD MINISTRIES
Flood Ministries exists to reach out and engage those in our community struggling in homelessness, linking them to resources and services through the supportive housing process. Flood was first established as a volunteer group from the Bridge Bible Church, and has since grown into a nonprofit organization that serves Kern County through street outreach teams, supportive care for individuals that are newly housed, and navigation centers in rural cities such as Arvin, Lamont, and Delano. Flood seeks to heal and humanize homelessness, believing that every human is of equal value and deserves our respect and a right to life free from affliction. Flood creates a culture that minimizes homelessness and maximizes humanity by humanizing adversity and empowering resilience. Flood’s goal is to see homelessness resolved in Kern County, with access to safe and stable housing for all.
