It is the first of eight meetings on the season between the Condors and Roadrunners. Both teams won midweek matchups with the Condors knocking off Henderson 5-1 and Tucson taking down San Diego 2-1.

LOOKING BACK

After falling behind 1-0, the Condors scored five unanswered to hand Henderson their first and only loss in six games this season. Raphael Lavoie scored twice and Lane Pederson had three points (1g-2a). Olivier Rodrigue stopped 31 in his season debut.

ROAD LIFE

Bakersfield begins a stretch of six-of-seven games on the road through November 11. The team will head to Canada for four games with Abbotsford and Calgary during the timeframe.

Rodrigue won his season debut after 14 wins a season ago and finishing ninth in the AHL in save percentage at .912.

GAGS HITS THE SCORESHEET 

Sam Gagner had two assists on Tuesday in his season debut after signing with the Condors on Monday. He’s notched six points (2g-4a) in five games with Bakersfield since 2019.

Ben Gleason has started the season with points in three straight (1g-2a). He had nine goals last season with Texas.

POWERED UP

Lavoie scored both power-play goals on Tuesday. He scored seven of his team-leading 25 goals on the power play a season ago.

ON THE OTHER SIDE

Tucson picked up a 2-1 win over San Diego in their Field Trip Day game Tuesday. Former Edmonton Oil King Dylan Guenther had the game-winner. He was drafted ninth overall in the 2021 NHL Draft.
