Condors in the Community: Colonel Claw’d visits Little Red School House Preschools

This week in Condorstown:

Monday, Aug. 8

Colonel Claw’d and Condors staff were at The Little Red School House Preschool located at 4601 Fruitvale Ave., from 9 to 10 a.m. Colonel entertained the kids as a book was read aloud and he handed out cool prizes as well. The Condors will also be making a visit to the Preschool on Tuesday, August 8 to accompany all the children that week.

Wednesday, Aug. 10

The Condors will be at Saunders Park located on Palm St., just west of Oak St., this Wednesday from Noon to 3 p.m. Come out andBabyandCaptain enjoy the summer sun and stop by the Condors booth to spin the Prize Wheel for a chance to win cool Condors prizes. Also, the Inflatable Slapshot will be on hand for everyone to experience the game of hockey. Colonel Claw’d and Baby Cal will be at the park to entertain the kids, as well.

The Condors will be at various Bakersfield City Parks every week during the months of July and August. Check the Condors Community release each Monday to find out when the Condors are coming to your neighborhood.

Thursday, Aug. 11

Colonel Claw’d and Condors staff will be at The Little Red School House Preschool located at 4601 California Ave., from 9 to 10 am. Colonel will entertain the kids as a book is read aloud and hand out cool Condors prizes as well.

The Condors will be out at the Back 2-School Health and Wellness Fair being held at Mill Creek Park located off of 21st St., just east of Q St., from 11 to 12 p.m. Colonel Claw’d and Baby Cal will be entertaining the kids who come out and enjoy free games, school supplies, haircuts, immunizations and much more.

Saturday, Aug. 13

The Condors will be joining The Ladies Active 20-30 Club this Saturday morning at Target at Valley Plaza Mall located at 2701 Ming Ave. from 7 to 9 a.m. for the Back to School Event. Local children were selected to be paired up with volunteers to shop for $200 worth of school supplies and clothes. Colonel Claw’d and Baby Cal will be entertaining the kids as they enjoy their shopping experience.

The Condors home opener is just 68 days away, when the ECHL’s newest team, the Colorado Eagles, come to town Saturday, Oct. 15.
