Bobblehead T-Shirts, Captain America and Skate with the Team this Weekend

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – As the calendar turns to December, the Bakersfield Condors return to the Mercy and Memorial Hospitals Home Ice at Rabobank Arena for two important games this weekend against the first-place Alaska Aces. Bobblehead t-shirt giveaway night is on Friday while Captain America swoops into town on Saturday. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.; the puck drops at 7 p.m., both nights.

Have you ever wanted to transform yourself into a bobblehead? Well, here’s your chance. Friday night is Bobblehead T-Shirt Giveaway night presented by Bright House Networks,Kelly 95.3 FM and Gotta Go Bail Bonds. The first 2,000 children, 12 and under, will receive a Condors bobblehead t-shirt at the game.

Bright House Networks subscribers can receive $7 terrace level tickets per person by presenting their cable bill at the box office as Friday is a Bright House Networks Family night at the arena! Don’t forget that bill!

Captain America makes an appearance in Condorstown on Saturday presented by The Groove 99.3 FM and Diamond Technologies. Come meet and get your picture taken with the great American superhero who has the strength of 1,000 men!

Bring your skates for apost-game skate with the Condors after Saturday’s action. Limited skate rentals are available for $5. What better way to spend a Saturday night than watching the Condors and skating with your favorite player after the game!

Saturday’s game is also an ABC 23, SC Architect, and Kern County Firefighters Condors Classroom Champions night. Through the program, students who achieved outstanding attendance prior to the game will receive complimentary tickets.

Rio Bravo Greeley school district sold 162 tickets as part of a fundraiser in partnership with the Condors and raised over $1,000for their schools. They will be coming to the game on Saturday and playing a game of broomball on the ice! The Bakersfield Marriott Autograph Booth will be open both games at the north end of the concourse. On Friday night, F Ian McKenzie and D Jimmy Martin will be available for signatures while on Saturday G Matt Keetley and RW Scott Freeman will sign for the fans.

Saturday’s game will be televised live on Bright House Networks,digital channel 10, and also will be archived on Bakersfield On Demand, channel 300.

Every game will be broadcast live in their entirety on Fox Sports 970 AM, and also available online at www.foxsports970am.com. In addition, anyone with a smartphone can download the iheartradio app and tune into the action from anywhere. Saturday’s game is theCondors Game of the Week on Fox Sports Radio 610 AM in Lancaster. Eleven members of the team, including Mathew “Big Slick” Sisca, Parker “Snake Eyes” Stanfield and Peter “Pocket Rockets” Boyd along with the coaches will be participating in a charity poker tournament to be held at the Aviator Casino in Delano on Wed. November 30th at 7 p.m. The Aviator Casino is located at 1225 Airport Drive in Delano. Proceeds from the event will benefit Shop with a Cop which gives underprivileged children as they get to go holiday shopping with a police officer.
