Reign topple Condors 4-3
The Condors opened the scoring with a pair of goals in the first 6:26 of play. F Tyler Helfrich staked the Condors to a 1-0 lead 2:20 into the game, batting in a rebound out of mid-air for his third of the season. LW Matt Marquardt blasted home his 12th of the season at 6:26 on the power play. G Matt Keetley turned aside all 14 Reign shots in the first, while Ontario G Chris Carrozzi made 10 first period stops.
Bakersfield padded their lead a minute into the second, with D Justin Pender hammering in his third of the season. The Reign controlled the middle frame, however, holding a 17-8 lead in shots and earning five power plays. They cut into the lead with RW Derek Couture scoring at 5:06. The goalies both made several acrobatic saves in the period to keep the score 3-1 through 40 minutes.
Ontario stole the game away in the third, scoring three unanswered goals to blow past Bakersfield. RW Brady Calla, at 2:26, started the rally, making it a one-goal game. The Reign tied it up on the power play at 10:27 and then took the lead with a shorthanded goal by C Bill Bagron at 12:53 to take the win.

Helfrich (1g-1a) and C Robby Dee (2a) both extended their point streaks to three games tonight and F Casey Pierro-Zabotel ran his to four games with an assist… LW Matt Marquardt now leads the Condors with six power play goals.
