TONIGHT

The Condors face the Ontario Reign for the final time of the 2011-12 regular season tonight. Bakersfield will look to bookend the season series with victories after opening the season with a win over Ontario. The Reign have won the last eight meetings, five of which have been of the one-goal variety.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
The Condors received 35 saves from G Bryan Pitton and F Alex vs ONTHudson scored his first professional goal, but it was not enough as the Ontario Reign scored a power-play goal in overtime to pull out a 2-1 victory. D Chris Huxley opened the scoring in the first period, while F Derek Couture notched the game-winner in overtime.

CONDORS NOTES
RW Tyler Helfrich has points in 11 of his last 15 games played dating back to Dec. 21. He has 16 points (6g-10a) during that time…F Evan Trupp has assists in his last two games and has three points (3a) in 5 games played since being acquired from Cincinnati…F Alex Hudson’s goal was the fifth this season from a California native. F Parker Stanfield has two and F Hans Benson has one…G Bryan Pitton started for the third consecutive game…C Robby Dee is fourth among ECHL rookies with 14 goals…The Condors eclipsed the 100,000 fan plateau last night with a crowd of over 6,000.

REIGN NOTES
Ontario is 12-1-1-0 when leading after one period. That record improves to 17-1-2-0 when leading after two periods of play…D Chris Huxley has scored two of his four goals against the Condors. His other two tallies have both been empty-net goals…Leading scorer F C.J. Stretch returned to the lineup from the AHL and found the scoresheet with an assist in the first period. He now has seven goals and six assists for 13 points in nine games against Bakersfield…Ontario scored both goals on the power play last night and in both situations, the Condors had three skaters on the ice.
