Condors drop season finale
CONDORSTOWN, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors (24-41-4-3, 55pts) wrapped up the season with a 4-0 loss at the hands of the Utah Grizzlies (33-33-0-6, 72pts) in front of 6,556 fans Saturday night at Rabobank Arena.

The Condors got off to a slow start in the first, surrendering the first seven shots on goal and the first tally of the night. F Ryan Watson scored shorthanded at 10:19, beating G Scott Greenham with his fourth of the season. The Condors pulled even in shots for the period, finishing the frame 13-13, but couldn’t beat Utah G Andrew Engelage.
Utah padded their lead in the middle stanza, adding a pair of power play markers to make it 3-0 through 40 minutes. Watson added his second of the night and RW Ross Carlson scored with just over a minute left in the period.
Bakersfield battled in the third but could not get anything past Engelage. Utah added an empty netter in the final moments to account for the final margin. Greenham finished the night with 42 saves.
