The American Hockey League today announced that due to league COVID-19 protocols affecting the Bakersfield Condors, their game scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 1, at the Stockton Heat (AHL Game #269) has been postponed.
The Edmonton Oilers have recalled defenceman Markus Niemeläinen from the Bakersfield Condors.
The Bakersfield Condors (6-6-2, 14pts) fell 2-1 to the San Diego Gulls (8-6-1, 17pts) on Teddy Bear Toss night in front of 5,571 fans at Mechanics Bank Arena. Ostap Safin scored the big goal unleashing thousands of bears at 19:38 of the second period.
The Bakersfield Condors (6-5-2, 14pts) host the San Diego Gulls (7-6-1, 15pts) at 7 p.m. for the 23rd annual Teddy Bear Toss presented by Eyewitness News, KERN 1180, and Three-Way Chevrolet. Bakersfield has been off for 10 days after three games on a road trip were postponed.
