GAME RECAP: Reign 3, Condors 2

The Bakersfield Condors scored twice in the first and led going into the third, but fell 3-2 to the Ontario Reign on Monday. Dylan Holloway (6th) and Tim Schaller (8th) each had goals on the night. Yanni Kaldis had an assist and now has 12 points in his last 11 games.

GAME RECAP: Condors 5, Tucson 1

The Bakersfield Condors scored four times in the opening frame and never looked back in 5-1 win over the Tucson Roadrunners on Saturday night. A crowd of 5,424 watched as James Hamblin scored 14 seconds in on the opening shift, his 15th of the season, and part of a multi-point night. Vinny Desharnais was +4 on the night, had two assists, a fight, and continues to lead the AHL at +30.

GAME PREVIEW: Condors host Tucson, 7 p.m.

The Bakersfield Condors return home following a six-game road trip to host the Tucson Roadrunners at 7 p.m. on Star Wars Night. Bakersfield currently occupies the third spot in the Pacific Division following last night's 2-1 overtime win over division-leading Stockton.

GAME RECAP: Condors 2, Heat 1 (OT)

Brendan Perlini (3rd) scored at 4:34 of overtime to give the Condors a 2-1 victory over the Stockton Heat on Friday. Dmitri Samourkov (3rd) forced overtime with his early third period marker. He and Vinny Desharnais each had multi-point nights. Bakersfield improves to 4-4 in overtime this season.

The Bakersfield Condors wrap up a six-game road trip in Stockton at 7 p.m. Bakersfield (22-13-4-5, 53pts, .602, 3rd place) comes in 2-2-1 on the trip and looks for its first win over Stockton (30-9-3-1, 64pts, .744%, 1st place) on the season.

Oilers sign Griffith to two-year deal

The Edmonton Oilers announced the signing of Seth Griffith to a two-year, two-way NHL contract starting in 2022-23. Griffith leads the Condors in scoring and is tied for fourth in the American Hockey League (AHL) scoring race.

James Hamblin (13th, 14th) scored twice, but a late San Jose goal gave them a 5-3 win over the Condors on Wednesday. Yanni Kaldis had two assists and Philip Broberg (3rd) scored in his return to the Condors. Bakersfield is 2-2-1 on the six-game road trip.
