The Bakersfield Condors (4-4-2, 10pts) erased a two-goal deficit to force overtime, but fell 5-4 to the Stockton Heat (8-0-1, 17pts) who earned their 8th win in a row on Wednesday night. Brad Malone had four points (2g-2a) while Seth Griffith (5g-8a) extended his point streak to an AHL-high 10 games to start the season. Bakersfield's power play continued a run of scoring to start the year with their 11th power-play tally.

Ryan McLeod was recalled by the Edmonton Oilers. He had five points (1g-4a) in seven games with the Condors.
