GAME RECAP: Condors 3, Heat 1

Seth Griffith (30th) set a new team goal-scoring record in a 3-1 win over Stockton on Saturday in front of 6,499 fans. With the win, the Condors secure home-ice as the four seed in the first round of the Calder Cup Playoffs against the Abbotsford Canucks. Games 1 and 2 are Tuesday and Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Bakersfield.

Condors host Abbotsford in Round 1

The Bakersfield Condors (4th seed) will host the Abbotsford Canucks (5th seed) in a first round, best-of-3 series with all games held on Dignity Health Home Ice at Mechanics Bank Arena.

GAME PREVIEW: Condors v Stockton, 6 p.m.

The Bakersfield Condors play the 68th and final game of the regular season against the Stockton Heat. Bakersfield is .500 against Stockton at 3-3-1-2 on the year including a 4-0 shutout win last Saturday at home. 

Griffith named to Second AHL All-Star Team

Condors leading scorer Seth Griffith has been selected to the Second-AHL All-Star Team.

GAME RECAP: Canucks 4, Condors 2

Adam Cracknell (1g-1a) had a multi-point night, but the Bakersfield Condors fell 4-2 to the Abbotsford Canucks on Tuesday.

The Bakersfield Condors and Abbotsford Canucks wrap an eight-game season series with a pivotal game for playoff seeding tonight at 7 p.m. Bakersfield is 4-3-0 against the Canucks this year, but Abbotsford has won the last three and has points in nine straight overall (8-0-1).

Stuart Skinner recorded his fifth shutout of the season, stopping 22 shots in a 4-0 win over Stockton. Tyler Benson (4th) and Brad Malone (14th) each had 1g-1a nights. The Condors have won three straight games and did not allow an even-strength goal all week.

The Bakersfield Condors host the Stockton Heat to conclude a four-game homestand. Bakersfield has won two straight and continues to fight for home-ice advantage in the first round of the Calder Cup Playoffs. The Condors have points in five of the eight matchups with the Heat this season (2-3-1-2).
