GAME RECAP: Condors 3, Knights 2

The Bakersfield Condors (19-9-4-3, 45pts) won their third straight on the homestand, 3-2 over the Henderson Silver Knights (20-13-2-1, 43pts). Colin Chaulk won his AHL head coaching debut and Alex Stalock stopped 23 of 25 to secure his first home win. Raphael Lavoie's second period power-play marker was the game winner, his 10th goal in 18 games.

Chaulk assumes head coaching duties

Colin Chaulk, who joined the Condors as an assistant coach in September 2021, will assume head coaching duties beginning tonight against Henderson at 7 p.m. Chaulk will be assisted by general manager Keith Gretzky, goaltending coach Sylvain Rodrigue, and video coordinator Noah Segall. He is the 9th head coach in franchise history and the third head coach in the team's American Hockey League era.

Woodcroft and Manson promoted to the Oilers

The Edmonton Oilers announced today that head coach Dave Tippett and associate coach Jim Playfair have been relieved of their coaching duties. Bakersfield Condors head coach Jay Woodcroft will assume head coaching duties with the Oilers for the remainder of the season and will be joined by assistant coach Dave Manson.

Condors Homestand Continues Friday / Saturday

The Bakersfield Condors host the Henderson Silver Knights for two games this weekend in a rematch of last year's Pacific Division Finals, won by the Condors!

GAME RECAP: Condors 4, Eagles 3

The Bakersfield Condors (18-9-4-3, 43pts) swept the Colorado Eagles with a 4-3 win on Saturday. Graham McPhee scored the game-winning goal and added an assist. Seth Griffith scored twice in the first period for his team-leading 14th and 15th on the year. Brad Malone had two assists and has seven in his last four games.

The Bakersfield Condors (17-9-4-3, 41pts, .621, 3rd place) host the Colorado Eagles (21-12-3-3, 48pts, .615%, 4th place) on Dignity Health Home Ice at Mechanics Bank Arena. Bakersfield won the opening game of the weekend, 4-1, last night, ending Colorado's 13-game unbeaten streak.

GAME RECAP: Condors 4, Eagles 1

The Bakersfield Condors (17-9-4-3, 41pts) ended the Colorado Eagles (21-12-3-3, 48pts) 13-game unbeaten run with a 4-1 victory on Friday night. Devin Brosseau (1g-1a) and Brad Malone (2a) each had multi-point nights in front of Stuart Skinner who stopped 32 shots. Skinner is now 7-0-2 on the season.

The Bakersfield Condors (16-9-4-3, .609, 39pts, 5th place) host the Colorado Eagles (21-11-3-3, .632, 48pts, 3rd place) for the first of two on Dignity Health Home Ice at Mechanics Bank Arena. It is the beginning of a season-long, seven-game homestand for the Condors.
