Condors in the Community: Condors Annual Open House and Family Day held this Saturday at Noon
This Week In Condorstown:
Bakersfield, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors will hold their annual Open House and Family Day on Saturday, Oct. 1 from Noon to 2:30 p.m. at the Bakersfield Ice Sports Center, located at 1325 Q Street. Fans will get a chance to see the team for the first time. The event kicks off with a Condors scrimmage from Noon to 1:30 p.m. Following the game, fans can hit the ice with the Condors and skate with the team. The skate will last until 2:30 p.m.
Season ticket holders who have paid in full or are current on their payment plans will be able to pick up their season ticket books at the event. The Condors will also have the popular Slap Shot booth there, plus mascots Colonel Claw’d, Baby Cal, and Slapshot will be hanging out.
The event is open to the public, and admission is free with the donation of two non-perishable food items. For more information click here.

Baby Cal and Condors staff will be at the Bakersfield Ice Sports Center located at 1325 Q St., from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. for public skate night. Baby Cal will be joining all of the skaters out on the ice, so come on out to the BISC and say hello to Baby Cal. Condors 14th Annual Charity Golf Classic:
The Condors host their 14th Annual Charity Golf Classic on Monday, Oct. 17 at Noon. This year’s event will be at RiverLakes Golf Course located at 5201 RiverLakes Dr. Teams are comprised of four entrants and a Condors player at a cost of $125 per person. Entry fee includes greens fees, cart, range balls, a sack lunch, one free putt in the putting contest, three free raffle tickets, specialty hat and a goodie bag. Sign-ups are officially underway for the 2011-12 Condors Kids Club. The Condors home opener is just 19 days away, when the Colorado Eagles come to town on Saturday, Oct. 15.
