La Campesina Radio, Brighthouse Networks & the Bakersfield Condors award another deserving class with the “Classroom of the Month” award. Teachers and students will enjoy a visit from a Condors mascot & player as well as pizza and tickets to an upcoming Condors game.

LA KINGS YOUTH HOCKEY SKILLS COMPETITION:

The LA Kings are bringing their Annual Youth Hockey Skills Competition to the SJCH Ice Center of Bakersfield this Friday, January 11th from 5pm-6pm. Age groups include 8 & under, 10 & under. 12 & under, 14 & under, 16 & under, and 18 & under. Participants that move onto the finals will compete at the STAPLES Center during the intermission of an LA Kings Game!

Every participant will receive a free LA Kings beach towel and 1 FREE TICKET to the Bakersfield Condors game vs. the Idaho Steelheads at the Rabobank Arena immediately following the skills competition at 7pm. Registration is only $20 per participant. Sign up today at WWW.LAKINGS.COM/skills.

The Condors return to home ice to take on the Idaho Steelheads in the second T.H.I.N.K. Night of the season, brought to you by Dignity Health Mercy & Memorial Hospitals and Diamond Technology, the Turn Hockey Into New Knowledge (or T.H.I.N.K.) program is designed to reward students who meet academic achievement and/or behavioral goals as determined by the participating school.
