Condors in the Community: Condors F Bobby Robins to visit Williams Elementary Schools After School Program

Tuesday, January 11
Condors staff and F Bobby Robins will be at Williams Elementary School located at 1201 Williams Street from 3 to 4 p.m. to participate in their After School Program. Robins will be giving a motivational speech to the kids about career goals, education, and team effort and also take part in the After School Program activity planned for that day.
Wednesday, January 12
World Series Pitcher, and Bakersfield Native, Colby Lewis will be a guest on KERO Channel 23 Morning Show with Mike Hart and Elaina Rusk at 6:30 a.m. Tune in, as Colby discusses his excitement to pose for pictures with Condors fans in the photo booth at this Friday’s game.
The Condors will be at both locations of Mauricio’s Mexican Restaurants this Wednesday night from 6 to 7 p.m. Baby Cal will be greeting customers at the 10700 Rosedale Highway location, and Colonel Claw’d will be greeting customers at the 6410 White Lane location. Children under the age of 10 eat FREE every Wednesday night, so head over to the nearest Mauricio’s location to get autographs and pictures with the mascots & enjoy some delicious Mauricio’s cuisine.
Thursday, January 12
Condors RW Erik Lizon will be a guest on ESPN 1230 “There it is!” The Jake Stevens Show to discuss his stint in the AHL and returning to action this week for the Condors.
Join Kevin Bartl as he hosts “Condors Insider”, Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. on Fox Sports Radio 970 AM. Tune in for an interview with D Joe Rullier, news and notes from around the ECHL and other features. Friday, January 14
Baby Cal and Condors staff will be at Christa McAuliffe Elementary School located at 8900 Westwold Drive from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m. McAuliffe School is holding a Celebrity Reader day where local celebrities get the chance to visit a classroom and read some stories. Baby Cal will be acting out scenes to as a book is read aloud.
The Condors return to Mercy & Memorial’s home ice to take on the Alaska Aces for Colby Lewis Night presented by My 45 & KUZZ 107.9. World Series pitcher and Bakersfield native, Colby Lewis from the Texas Rangers will be available for autographs and photos. Doors open at 6 p.m., puck drops at 7 p.m.
Saturday, January 15
The Condors will take on the Ontario Reign for a special noon start time, and welcome Yogi Bear & Boo Boo, sponsored by Bright House Networks & 101.5 KGFM. Meet and get your photo with Yogi Bear & Boo Boo as they visit Condorstown from Jellystone Park, fresh off their major motion picture. It is also Poster Giveaway Night, as all fans in attendance will receive a Condors All-Star Classic poster.
Bright House Networks subscribers have a chance to receive $7.00 admission per person by presenting the coupon available in your cable bill or bill envelope for Bright House Networks Family Day. All Kids Club members receive a free terrace level admission by showing their Kids Club Badge sponsored by Bright House Networks, Bakersfield Californian, & Wells Fargo. JoRonCo donates Suite to raise money for the American Cancer Society:
The Condors would like to thank JoRonCo Rentals Inc. for donating the Budweiser 5-Hole On-Ice Suite for the Friday, Jan. 14 game by having KUZZ 107.9 auction it off on air. All the proceeds will benefit Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society. The winning bid was $1,500 from Sanford Semchak & Speights Refrigeration Inc. FAN FEST AND HALL OF FAME LUNCH:
